The pandemic has changed significant ways that we connect and support each other. As communities adhere to health restrictions (lockdowns), there are unintended negative consequences to emotional well-being. We would like to encourage ways to maintain support to empower and encourage communities to protect themselves, take care of loved ones, cope with stressors and stay healthy.

There is a range of mental health problems directly related to COVID, including depression and anxiety-related disorders, and issues that occur due to its consequences: loss of job, income, home. Mental health experts are also expecting a surge of PTSD once society gets past this wave of the pandemic.
